The most difficult custom to date. The base figure is a WWF Maximum Sweat Big Show (?). I sculpted new feet (very very difficult), then lots and lots of sanding, and I hate sanding. Using some plumber's putty I made the head, the rock-looking hand and the ice-looking arm. After adding lots of putty to the rock-looking hand I gave it some rock shape with the dremel, same with the ice-looking arm, and for the ice arm I used some misc. Accesory pieces, the loincloth is sculpted too. The Thing's skin on his legs is made with vinyl, and was a funny process. Since, I bought an Airbrush. I painted this guy with it. It gave it some shadows here and there and the fading from the grey color to the morphing material states in his arms and legs, I just can't explain how I did it, but I bet you airbrush users out there knows how. I have read that the Awesome Android can morph his hand into a granite block and can copy The Thing's skin as well as to Iceman's ice coating, well, this is my way to see those powers kicking off.
